We hope that you found a convenient way to get to Finland from the different options that were briefly mentioned on the "getting to Finland" page. Once you have reached this nordic country, we need to get you to Nastola, where the wedding takes place. In order for you to come to Nastola without hassle, we recommend to plan your trip this way that you arrive on Friday already, it would also help us with our transportation plans ( explained below). Since all ways to Nastola go by Lahti the following sections are descibing the way to Lahti first and then from Lahti to Nastola.

In Helsinki, from both ferry harbour (= city center) and airport, you have the possibility to either rent a car or take the bus. For the train you need to get to the city center and main train station, the airport is not yet directly connected.

Hel-NastolaBy car, follow the signs for highway number 4 (also known as E75) towards Lahti. There will be a couple of Lahti exits which you pass. After about 100 kilometers (60 miles) you take the exit "Nastola, Kouvola, Lahti I" and stay in the left lane. This will lead you to road number 12 heading east. After 10 kilometers take the "Nastola"
exit. Click on the map picture to the right for a downloadable map and instructions in PDF format.
